Every rental includes all of the basic camping gear and bedding you need.
- Included items:
- Bedding – fitted sheet, down comforter and pillows (one per person)
- Camp table
- Chairs (one per person)
- Camp stove with 5lb propane tank
- French press coffee maker
- Pot and pan set
- Set of 4 cups, bowls and plates (additional available on request)
- Cooking and eating utensil set with cutting board and bottle opener
- Collapsible sink with dish soap, sponge, scrub brush and dish towel
- Paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags
- Cooking spray, salt and pepper set, can opener, lighter
- Lantern for inside the tent
- Shovel, hatchet and brush saw
- First aid kit
- Fire extinguisher

A few key items we suggest adding to your packing list
- Insect repellant – we often carry two types, one non-DEET/organic type for casual mosquitos and a type with DEET for serious Alaskan mosquitos.
- Toiletries and a small towel
- Good hiking shoes – waterproof ones are even better
- Rain jacket
- Layers of clothing – on any given day it could be 50 degrees, 90 degrees, or anywhere in between!
- A hat with a bill or brim and sunscreen
- A headlamp for rentals August through April (not needed May-July)
Please keep in mind that space in the vehicles is limited, so pack accordingly. Soft sided duffel bags are a good choice.
Travel tip
When you arrive, consider arranging curbside pickup for your groceries to get you on your way faster! Carrs Safeway, Fred Meyer, and Walmart offer curbside pickup in Anchorage.
